A “Splash” of angling information with an underwater point of view.
Hook n’ Look Splash Episode #5 provides some insight as to one of the reasons Smallmouth Bass are drawn to the sandgrass in the Great Lakes.
After hours of fishing the Strike King® Series 6XD Crankbait Kim and Danny take the plunge to find out why the bass are schooled up in this area of the lake. To our amazement we observed that the smallmouth bass are not just drawn to the area because of the sandgrass but more notably the abundance of goby dwellings. We have coined the phrase “Goby Adobes” because of the fact that their homes are built into the muddy bottom of the lake.
